JCS Carpentry & Woodworking Home

This panelized photograph is a good example of a whole room treatment.  This dining room was designed and built by JCS.  The wainscoting that boasts quarter sawn oak fields and red oak frames was created from scratch including the moldings.  The ceiling is composed of a faux beam grid underscored with quarter sawn oak fields.  With the upholstered walls, two people can stand on opposite sides of the room, whisper to each other and still hear as if they were inches apart.  The structure on the right is multifunctional.  Not only is it a buffet and candle stand, it is a radiator cover that acts as a food warmer.  Directly above the radiator is an inset brass plate that transfers heat.  Lighting is courtesy of Roussel Electric @ (978) 697-2762.
