Mahogany Deck with Landscape Hugging Curve
We built this mahogany deck for Legasse Remodeling and Design. Legasse designed it in a way that fosters an intimate relationship with the landscape so the two become one.
The curve gives the feeling of the deck coming forth from the land rather than a manmade structure imposing onto the land.
The pergola spans over nineteen feet without a post to support it in the middle. This was accomplished by embedding a piece of specially galvanized steel tubing.
