Built in Fireplace with Complimenting Arch
On this built in fireplace, The arched notch created by the center doors carries the theme of the fireplace insert’s faceplate. This operation required a lot of skill since these doors were made to match the existing cabinet doors in the room. The size of the dentil molding creates the illusion of even more height in this nine foot room and comes from installing several layers. This was also necessary to compensate for the out of level ceiling line as each layer tapers invisibly.

The wall unit is located in the center of the house. Hidden inside are two pullouts designed to house central stereo controls. The bottom most drawers are file drawers capable of bearing 200 pounds each.
The lighting is low voltage xenon.
